Mammootty’s Chattambinadu Review – Superb Entertainer with little story
Just came back after watching Mammootty’s Chattambinadu from Maharani, Pala. Here is a short review of the movie.
The movie is a clean family entertainer with loads of comedy scenes. There is nothing new in the storyline. Its a mix of several other Mammootty movies.
Chattambinadu is very short. Around 2 hours. And you wont get bored for even 1 minute. Salim Kumar and Sooraj Venjaramoodu handles the comedy department and they have done their roles perfectly.
Laxmi Rai is Mammookka’s heroine in the movie. Mythili (Manikyam in Paleri Manikyam) plays the lover girl of Vinu Mohan. She doesn’t have much to do in the movie.
Mammootty simply rocks in this movie. Got a nice intro. Action sequences and dialogues are good. He looks awesome in white kurta and white pants.
Mammootty’s Kannada punch dialogue is already a hit.

Go for Chattambinadu if you like this genre of movies – A lot of comedy scenes, good action sequences, tamil style songs and punch dialogues. This movie belongs to the same category of movies like Thommanum Makkalum, Mayavi, Rajamanikyam, Chota Mumbai, Hello, Annan Thampi etc.
I am sure Chattambinadu is going to be another hit for our Megastar

Theatre was housefull, And about the movie,.. a complete family entertainer for this Xmas. nice comedy…. can laugh till the end…. story not that new… but camera work, action and direction makes the movie diff:, welcome comeback for Shafi as an hitmaker after the utter flop Lolipop.. Suraj and Salim does their job well. Hats off to Mamukka
