Ahmed Haji was portrayed exceptionally well by Mammootty and it's one of his remarkable performances. I felt that the character Sarayoo (Gowri Munjal) was not really needed in the movie, except for highlighting a character trait of Haridas (Mammootty) which he might have got from his parent ;-) Excellent Movie.
