Blessy’s Bramaram Movie Review

Saw Bramaram from PVR, Bangalore

Writer director Blessy’s latest movie Bhramaram is highly inspired by Bharathan’s Thazhvaram which was written by MT Vasudevan Nair.

Bramaram is a road movie, a revenge movie and a suspense thriller. First half of the movie was quite good. But the climax was predictable from the starting of second half. The movie was going forward pretty good till the climax and the director succeeded in keeping the thrill stuff going. Towards the end, Blessy seems to have lost the control of the script and direction.

Mohanlal’s acting is one of the major plus points of the movie. After a long time, i am seeing a good performance from Mohanlal. This movie may fetch him some awards.

Cinematography by  Ajayan Vincent was simply superb.

The serious theme of the movie may not be pleasing for all kinds of people. May be that’s why its only an average grosser at the box office.
