Prithviraj’s Anwar Review

Saw Anwar from Sangeeth theater, Bangalore.

Amal Neerad is yet to come out of the hangover of his debut movie Big B. He is still concentrating more on style rather than content. Its high time he deviates from his usual approach.

Screenplay is just average. That is the main defect of Anwar. And for a sensitive theme like this, dialogues should be extremely good to make an impact.

Anwar has its merits also. Two good songs. Good action sequences. Style. Background score.  Prithviraj. And good first half.
