Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya Review – Beautiful Love Story

Saw Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya (VTV) from PVR, Bangalore.

I liked the movie.

Songs are simply awesome and beautifully picturised. I am listening those almost every day ever since the movie’s music release. Background music is also good. The director has used the background score beautifully.

At places, the movie is a little slow. But don’t worry. The songs come at the right moments.

The movie is shot in Alleppy and Chennai. The shots in Alleppy are beautiful.

Trisha is charming as well as hot. Liked her looks in the movie. She looks supercool (and superhot) in sari.

Simbu is without all his antics and usual mannerisms. He is apt for the role and has done that perfectly.

Was surprised to see the title “Young Superstar Simbu” instead of “Little Supersstar Simbu”. When did he change his tag line? :)

The story is simple and nothing great. But the climax is good. Really good. Never expected something like that at the end. The park scene was so touching and brilliantly taken.

Rating: 3.5 / 5

You will like VTV more if you are/have been in a relationship :)

There were English subtitles for the movie. So i didn’t miss even a single dialogue.

Director: Goutham Menon

Music: AR Rahman

Cinematography: Manoj Paramahamsa

When I saw, the subtitles were not there :( All songs were pictured in a nice way but the choreography was same for almost all songs.. I’d rate 3/5.
